Now... would you just...  “Shake it to the Shack!”

Brand promotion:
You're tired. You're cold. It's winter and you don't want to get out of your car. You want that burger... but don't you also want...free fries? AND free entertainment!?

Get out of your seat and Shake it to the Shack!

If you dance from the door to the ordering counter, you will be rewarded with free french fries. This makes for an appealing incentive for customers, but also entertainment for friends and families dining at Shake Shack. How can you turn down free fries AND free live, unchoreographed entertainment?

Ask: Keep customers wanting to come into stores for an indoor dining experience.

Truth #1: Most Shake Shacks are not drive-thrus.

  • In 2022, Shake Shack had over 300 restaurants, and only six were drive-throughs.

Truth #3: Two-thirds of fast-food purchases were drive-throughs in September 2023. Since the pandemic, people have less tolerance for being around strangers leading them to pick drive-thru.

Truth #4: Positive reinforcements make people more inclined to act in a situation if something is added. Creating a new experience will make people more inclined to participate.

Truth #5: Watching dance movements makes people happy because it stimulates the viewer’s brain.

Insight: If people are rewarded with an experience by physically walking through the door, they are more likely to dine in repeatedly.
